The only complicated things in Teddy’s life are cocktails until Nick Chandler is added to the mix…
Left at the altar Teddy Richmond goes on the Greek island honeymoon alone. After a week of intensive retail therapy at the exclusive island
resort the runaway groom cancels his credit card and Teddy is forced to
move out of the bridal suite into a room at the back of the hotel.
When she finally runs out of her own money Teddy decides to stay
in Greece and rebuild a perfect life in which she has no responsibilities,
no commitments, no heartbreak.
Teddy rents a room with a view from a crabby old Greek woman
and finds a job in a local taverna. She hangs out with co-worker, Chloe,
her boss’s American-Greek niece who loves celebrity gossip and
complicated cocktails.
Life is just the way Teddy wants it until movie star Nick Chandler
shows up with his chaotic kids, fashion diva girlfriend and her
eccentric entourage.
All of a sudden Teddy’s life becomes complicated, committed and
down-right scary.
I have been meaning to tell you, even when we were in Canada, that I read your friends book and I love it. I couldn’t stop reading it. I just wanted to know what happened in the end. Is she writing another one?

I wanted to let you know that I finally found a copy of your book through Amazon.com, read it in one day, could not put it down, I loved it. I’m looking forward to your next book. My mom also read the book in one day, keep writing, I’m envious and excited for you.
take care,
Sue
A rather belated “Well done” on your book. I had it sent to my Dad’s via Amazon as you can’t get it here in SA. I was back last week as part of the “move back to the Uk preparations” and picked it up. I then didn’t really put it down and had managed to finish it before we were served food on the return flight. Brilliant! I don’t have anything literary to say really except I really enjoyed the read and found the characters both believable and interesting. I look forward to your next book so get back to that type writer and away form those parties!!!

I am almost at the half way point in Star Crossed…what a great sense of humour Margaret has! I love it! Can’t wait to find out what happens with Nick!

I took my time reading your book– a little each night– because I was really enjoying it. It had a fresh, lively, fun voice; the main character was terrifically clear and likeable; the setting well drawn. All in all, (although it’s not my typical ‘genre’) I’d say 1st Rate. You managed to pack in a lot, and still make it not a cliche. It flowed really well. The dialogue was totally convincing and I loved all the dance scenes.

REVIEW
Start with the backdrop of “Mamma Mia”; add in the fun, raunch, and glamour of “Sex and the City”; throw in the complications of “The Sound of Music”; and finish with just a little added adventure and intrigue.
This is the recipe Margaret Hastings-James seems to use in creating this fun, modern love story … a must read for every girl that still believes in Prince Charming!
Flawless … and highly recommended!!
